David Dunn, violinist and charter member of the Oakville Symphony as well as a personal friend of the Symphony founder, Kenneth Hollier, formed the Hollier String Quartet twenty-two years ago.  Throughout the years, there have been several changes in membership but the Quartet is still enjoying making beautiful music together. Currently all are also members of the Oakville Symphony Orchestra.

The Hollier String Quartet performs light classics for recitals, receptions, dinner parties, bar mitzvah’s and weddings.  Their varied repertoire includes everything from Bach to Broadway. The Quartet is very fortunate to have a resident composer and arranger for those special occasions where a specific selection may be requested.  Whether it’s background music for an intimate dinner party or for a corporate reception, the Hollier String Quartet has something for everyone to enjoy.
