Vera Kreyman
Classical Guitar Teacher
Vera was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Russia and started studying classical guitar at the age of 4. She completed 2 years in music at Mussorgsky College, where she studied classical guitar with E. Larionov, as also studied folk instruments and piano.
She continued here studies and teaching in Canada in 1997 and completed a three-year program at Mohawk College where she studied classical guitar under Jonathan Earp. During that time she completed courses at Royal Conservatory of Music and graduated with honors.
In 2001 she graduated from McMaster University where she studied classical guitar under Jeffery McFadden. She has been teaching and performing in Canada since 1997.
She enjoys teaching classical guitar, piano and theory to students of all ages and has the ability to create a friendly environment for younger children to encourage their interest and confidence. Her focus is on developing on techniques, including bend/release, slide, hammer-on and puff-off to name a few. She also teaches sight reading and theory.
